The second edition of UOT Soccer will be taking place in Buwate this weekend at the new Buwate football arena.
Expect a lot of jam packed fun for revellers as the twitter community in Uganda , dubbed , the Ugandans on Twitter (UOT) will be taking on each other in an Android user vs I phone users affair sponsored by Melbet.
The ladies will also be part of the action this Sunday on the 28th as there will also be a netball exhibition match for them after the football match.
The game is slated for 10 am.
The iPhone team will be captained by Eddy pages while the android team will be captianed by Bruno K who already took to social media to post about the event.
The event which is sponsored by Melbet Uganda, that injected 7 million shillings in to the organization of the event and the kit sponsorships.
During a press conference last Friday at Legends sports bar the organizers promised a jam packed afternoon with lots of eats and drinks. The winner of the event will walk bag a goat which will be roasted and prepared on that same day.
it should be noted that not more than 200 people will be allowed into the venue in regulation with the standard operations guidelines by the Ministry of health.
The venue is big enough to host more than 150 people and spacious enough for social distancing , so make sure to book your sits early . Since it will be first come first serve.
