MUBS to have online examinations due to the sudden closure of the institution.

The Principle of Makerere University Business School (MUBS), Prof. Waswa Balunywa has brought up a way to enable students to stay engaged during the lockdown.

This decision was made after he postponed the end of semester examinations citing the increasing cases of COVID-19 cases.

“We are working out on a method in which possibly examinations can be held online. We shall communicate once we have a method in which this can be done,” said the MUBS Principle.

The President of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, addressed the nation on Sunday to curb the spread of COVID-19.

He reimposed a strict lockdown that included the closure of schools and suspension of inter-district travel that take effect today. Also, there will be a shutdown of weekly open markets and suspension of church services.
