Makerere University sets dates and drafts reopening programs for students to sit for exams

Makerere University Academic Registrar has disclosed that the students will be expected to report to campus for final semester examinations.

Mr. Masikye Alfred indicated according to a circular that was shared on Tuesday evening that both University Senate and Council had already approved the Alternative Modes of Assessment for the completion of Semester One 2020/2021 examinations.

He announced that the University scheduled the Examinations to start on Septembe 13th to run up to 30th September 30th, 2021.

“The First Year and all Continuing Students who have pending Semester One examinations are informed accordingly and should prepare to sit the examinations since Colleges have drafted and published detailed examination schedules and timetables” said Masikye.

He also directed the Deans and Heads of Department and College Registrars to provide relevant information and sensitise students on these examination modalities.

He instructed all students that had not completed their payments of relevant fees to contact the respective College Bursars to be guided on the new payment procedures.
