UCU Alumni Set To Represent Uganda in Miss World 2021

26 year old Elizabeth Bagaya a former student of Uganda Christian University Mukono is set to represent Uganda in the upcoming Miss World beauty pageant.

The pageant which will take place on the 16th of December 2021 in Puerto Rico at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum will see the dark skinned beauty try to glorify the Pearl of Africa.

Bagaya was the first runner up in the 2019/20 miss Uganda beauty pageant behind the eventual winner Oliver Nakakande.

She was announced the caretaker of the crown in April after Nakakande’s term expired and she also went back to complete her studies.

Bagaya who is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in human resource management had vowed to make a difference in people’s lives prior to the last miss Uganda pageant although she did not win.

She has been making numerous tours aroud the country trying to uplift the less privileged people.

The beauty queen also participated in the 2019 MTN Pulse pageant where she was awarded with 4,500 voice minutes, 30 GB a month for a period of one year.

This pageant was won by Bronnie Divine Kussima.
