Col Dr Kiiza Besigye’s son lands master’s scholarship at University of Chicago

The son of former four time presidential candidate Dr Col Kiiza Besigye, Anselm Besigye has landed himself a master’s scholarship at the prestigious University of Chicago.

He has been admitted for the academic year 2022-23 and will be pursuing a master’s degree of Arts in Social sciences.

In the admission letter given to Anselm, his scholarship award is worth $40,000 dollars. It’s from the Quadrangle Scholars Research Scholarship.

‘’Congratulations on behalf of the division of social sciences, I am delighted to offer you admission to the University of Chicago for graduate study in the Master of Arts Program in the Social Sciences beginning in Autumn 2022. The decision reflects the confidence of the master of arts program in the social sciences faculty in your accomplishments to-data and in your academic and professional promise,’’ the admission letter reads.

The admission letter has some terms and conditions that Anselm will need to accept before April 20, 2022.

These include among others such as paying a non refundable enrollment fee of $500. This will be applied towards quarter fee.

He currently lives in Geneva Switzerland with his mother.
