10 MTN Pulse users land scholarships at Victoria University

MTN Uganda under its MTN Pulse service in conjunction with Victoria University have handed 10 scholarships to 10 lucky users to study at the University.

MTN Pulse which is more of a youth service is aiming at availing education opportunities to the youths to acquire further education and better their futures.

Five of the 10 winners got full scholarships while the other 5 received partial ones.

These all started their classes yesterday 21st March 2020 as they were enrolled in the March intake.

Victoria University has two intakes one in March and the other in September. The University has a mission of providing a dynamic environment, innovation, research, and community engagement.

Somdev Sen the MTN Uganda Chief Marketing Officer said that this partnership is based on MTN Pulse’s steadfast commitment to make and avail opportunities to the youth to help them achieve their potential and better their lives.

“On behalf of MTN Uganda, I applaud the winners of these scholarships and wish them well in their studies at one of the most prestigious learning institutions in the country,” Somdev said.

Victoria University through this partnership is aiming at getting problem solvers who have transformational ideas that change lives and impact their communities. MTN Pulse on the other hand is providing support to the youth in order to help them reach their full potential.

The winners of the full scholarships include; Alupo Yvonne, Nanteza Nuriat, Jumba Jonathan, Nambissa Blessing Tracy, and Remo Idris Sebbi while the winners of the partial scholarships include; Mbogga A Swamaduh, Kataike Bridget, Nakayiwa Brenda, Nakayiga Shamim, and Okanya Brian.
