Oscar Kampala chooses business over school, skips test to style Fireboy DML

At times we are faced with some difficult decisions in life but at the end we always have to make a choice. It was the same for young FashionPreneur Oscar Kampala over the weekend.

And the young man took a move that can be equally criticized and applauded depending on which angle you view it from.

Oscar decided to skip a test in order to grow his clientele base after he landed a gig to dress Nigerian singer Fireboy who was in the country recently.

Fireboy had been advertised for long and gauging by his status and caliber, its a gig that was so enticing for Oscar or anyone that landed it to fail to show up.

The test was foregone although needed for his scores since he’s still a student at Makerere University and Fireboy and business chosen.

The young entrepreneur is slowly and steadily rising into one of the most celebrated and sought after fashion icons in the country.

He’s worked on a number of international artists and local ones such as Jidenna, DJ Neptune and Eddy Kenzo among others.

Neptunes in fact hailed the works of Oscar for the outfit he provided him with.

The sky therefore seems the limit for Kampala although its not known how he’s able to juggle school and work. But all in all, the end result is one, looking for money and as long as its legal, its the way to go.

His shop is located along Universal House (shop No F12) along Luwum street.
