A video circulating on social media shows a man assaulting a student earlier today.
In the video, a caretaker at Mityana Institute of Nursing and Midwifery was seen slapping a student without any remorse.
Furthermore, the student was being dragged out of the dormitory not dressed appropriately.
According to reports, the caretaker was an askari beating the student for delaying to go for her lectures.
The askari known as Tumwebaze Andrew is known for intruding into girls’ dormitories and carrying out such rounds.
However, the public has decided to call for change following what happened to this student at the Mityana Institute of Nursing and Midwifery.
