A group of women were allegedly held at Mezo Noir Bar & Restaurant in Kampala due to their sponsor’s disappearance, which resulted in an unpaid bill of drinks worth shs19.7m for a single night.
Under the acceptance of being ‘spoilt’ for the night by their guy friends, the two girls went the extra mile and invited their other female friends over for the drinking spree.
These women sipped on luxurious Cohiba Splendidos and Veuve Clicquot with great enthusiasm, completely oblivious to the financial strain they were putting on themselves.
These women had to panic and feel unsure of how to proceed when they realized that their sponsor was nowhere to be found. They attempted to reach out to their loved ones for assistance, only to realize that they had been deceived and were left to deal with the situation on their own.
Furthermore, concerned citizens questioned the exorbitant drink bill of shs19,760,000, spent in a single night by the ladies.
