New dates announced for UCU’s 22nd graduation ceremony

Uganda Christian University has come out to announce the dates of this year’s graduation ceremony.

The ceremony that is to be the 22nd in the university’s history will go down on the 22nd of October 2021.

With the President’s ban on academic institutions, the ceremony is set to be a virtual one just as most universities have carried out their graduation ceremonies in the past few months.

Am estimated 1,700 students is expected to graduate with different awards from the University situated in Mukono.

Prof Aaron Mushengyezi the Vice Chancellor of the University made this communication on the 21st of June 2021.

Mushengyezi went ahead to tell the students set to graduate to plan as early inorder to avoid unnecessary disruptions.

He further went ahead to rally them to stay safe from the pandemic that has claimed a number of lives and left thousand infected.

“We have seen God’s faithfulness in the past year. Let us have faith in God who saw is through the lockdown of 2020,” The Vice Chancellor said in his address to the staff and students.
