After the much anticipated presidential address on Thursday regarding the re opening of schools and various educational institutions ,Makerere university has finally published their reopening dates to all stake holders.
This comes after a directive from the president in regards to the opening of schools were he announced after a cabinet meeting that Semi candidates and students enrolled in tertiary institutions will be going back to full learning in March.
A letter from the University Vice Chancellor on Friday communicating to lecturer’s teachers and all stakeholders of the university on the reopening of school.
Enrolment, registration and teaching of freshers will commence on 1st March 2021 on campus.
Teaching and learning for the continuing students and finalists will commence online on Monday 8th February 2021.
A schedule for staggered learning for all the students on campus will be issued as soon as arrangements are completed.
