The well known socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa aka Bad Black has been unveiled as the new Brand Ambassador for Victoria University.
The university’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. Lawrence Muganga carried out the unveiling of the new Brand Ambassador and this was done at the Victoria University’s premises.
“I can’t explain but am coming live to address you in English as the official brand ambassador of Victoria university,” she wrote on Monday.
The contract stipulates that her children will be given bursaries as part of the deal. To add on, Bad Black will be marketing the university for a period of one year as per the contract signed.
The socialite is expected to use her social power to lure learners to the university.
Bad Black joins a list of celebrity influencers for the Kampala-based University.
The University was started in 2010 before it was acquired by the Ruparelia Group in 2013.
While other learning institutions are closed, Victoria University has been holding online teaching classes for all its students.
